Miss Haley 1994-2009


This is Haley. My puppy niece. She passed away Thursday. Our heats are broken for my sister Karen who was blessed with haleys love and friendship for almost 15 years. Haley had many friends, and will be very sadly missed. R.I.P.

a click away from heaven

On monday I started to clicker train Dory. She has alot of " issues" and I am going to help her become a balanced dog. She is learning so fast, it's amazing me.
I am also clicker training the other two at the same time, although they are older and are very obedient for the most part. It's good for them to feel involved though, and it helps them learn new things.

I am just amazed at how much better the dogs respond to this kind of conditioning. It's kind and if they dont do what you ask, no click, no treat. simple. They decide. Pavlov's bell theory.

It's also very addictive. It's addictive because once they catch on, they catch on. Dory is amazing me. I am teaching her to heel off-leash.

I love my dogs.
